High Voltage Composite Insulators

Composite Insulators for power transmission and substations, offering high strength, lightweight design, pollution resistance, and long-term reliability.

Description

High voltage composite insulators are advanced insulation components used in power transmission lines, substations, and electrical equipment. Designed with a fiberglass reinforced core rod, silicone rubber sheds, and metallic end fittings, they provide superior strength, lightweight structure, pollution resistance, and long-term stability compared to porcelain or glass insulators.

Key Types

  1. Line Post / Suspension Composite Insulators

    • FXBW4-10/70: For 10kV lines, mechanical load 70kN, widely used in city distribution networks.

    • FXBW4-35/100: For 35kV rural or mountain transmission, mechanical load 100kN.

    • FXBW4-110/160: Designed for 110kV high-voltage lines, load 160kN, ensuring safe long-distance transmission.

    • FXBW4-220/210: For 220kV systems, load 210kN, critical for stable power grid operation.

  2. Substation Post Composite Insulators

    • ZSW-10/4: For 10kV substations, ~4m height, insulation and support.

    • ZSW-35/6: For 35kV substations, ~6m height, capable of withstanding higher stresses.

    • ZSW-110/10: For 110kV substations, ~10m height, ensuring reliable performance.

  3. Hollow Composite Insulators

    • ZHW-10/200: For 10kV switchgear, inner diameter 200mm, ideal for GIS and gas-insulated switchgear.

    • ZHW-35/300: For 35kV equipment, inner diameter 300mm, widely applied in substations.

Technical Parameters

  • Rated Voltage: 10kV, 35kV, 110kV, 220kV

  • Mechanical Load: 70kN ~ 210kN

  • Creepage Distance: Customized per design

  • Power Frequency Withstand Voltage: High reliability under specified test conditions

  • Lightning Impulse Voltage: Strong resistance to overvoltage surges

Product Features

  • Lightweight & Easy Installation – Significantly lighter than porcelain or glass, reducing transport and construction costs.

  • High Mechanical Strength – Fiberglass core ensures tensile and bending strength under extreme conditions.
